(...) (...), or ellipsis, was my relatively short-lived datanoise project that evolved during 1999 and 2000. datanoise was a style whereby all sound sources came from entirely non-musical realms. literally, the source material is raw, non-sound-based binary information, in the form of images, text files and so on. some of these pieces notably the xbx divided by x trio, the sauvegarde quartet and the two pieces of laaku were released on the internet. i never had a desire to have an official cd release of these works and (...) was and remains a project which can be downloaded from the web. these 12 tracks are all of the (...) material available, apart from once piece, fuztezo, which is still available on techNOH - you can download this from i-ii.org/techNOH. the tracks are presented as is, in the form of an archive. please feel free to do with them what you wish. brian lavelle 26.01.2002 brian@i-ii.org http://i-ii.org
